Reason #1
The Stairs Are Usually The First Moment To Change.
For years, your dog followed you up to bed every night. Then one night they stopped at the bottom step, looked up, and lay back down.
Climbing asks more of the hips and back legs than almost anything else in a normal day, so the stairs are often where you notice it first. But they're rarely the only moment.
Watch for these everyday moments:
- The stairs a pause at the bottom, one step at a time, or sleeping downstairs
- The car waiting at the door to be lifted in
- The couch standing next to it instead of jumping up
- The leash still excited, but the walk is over sooner
My dog still runs and plays. Is this really about them?
Yes. Joint changes build up quietly over years, long before a dog slows down. The owners who start a daily joint routine early are the ones who give their dog the most support over the long run.
The stairs part made me tear up. That's exactly our Bailey 😢 She stands at the bottom every night waiting for me to carry her.

Our 9 year old Max was starting to slow down a bit. It's nice seeing him wanting to play more again. Definitely keeping these in his daily routine.

Does this work for small dogs? My dachshund is 11.

Hi Mark! Yes, the amount is based on weight: one chew per 25 lbs a day, so most dachshunds need just one.

Cooper was getting a little stiff after his naps. We've been giving him these for a few weeks and he seems more comfortable getting up now. He loves the taste too.

Tried a couple of joint supplements before and Daisy wouldn't touch them. No problem with these!

Only been using these for about a month but Bella seems more eager to go on our morning walks. She thinks they're treats 😂

Been using these for around six weeks. Milo still has his slower days but he seems a bit more active lately, especially on our evening walks.
